 Hello, Attached are some in progress images of our SD40-2 project. I started again from scratch a few weeks ago to get all the bugs out of the files and also add new components where required. As you can see, some major headway has been made. The files are directly used for injection mold tooling and can be exported to form the base for photo-tooling.We have completed the design work for our new stanchions. They are going to be injection molded. I will test various plastics however I can assure you that Acetal Plastic will not be used.  A pre-order is on the web-site to help us raise the 10% contribution required to ensure funding through a lender. The new product is DP 6150. They will do at least two full locomotives. When the dust settles a few pre-formed wire kits are planned to give you the handrails.http://railflyermodelprototypes.myshopify.com/products/dp-6150-emd-gmdd-stanchions  I am very pleased to say that I have enlisted some help to get the CAD done quicker on the drives, trucks and assorted items specific to this project. We should have some images of that endeavor in a couple of weeks. Please continue the support. We have a ton of products in stock and many more in the pipeline. Another note is that our GMDD Wide Cab photo-etch revisions are in progress this week and the remaining batch is due to ship in a few days. This will bring another 200 kits into our inventory. Some other items that are in short supply will also start flowing again.
