Un-Named Modular Group.

The UMG is an informal group of model railroaders from the Canadian Maritimes. The idea for this group came from the Maritime Federation of Model Railroaders' (MFMR) e-mail list in 2003. Dara (aka Father), suggested that modelers in the Maritimes that are not associated with a club can feel a bit disconnected. He thought that a “non-aligned” modular group would encourage these folks to become more active in the Federation.

Half Nuts Model Railroaders.Half Nuts Model Railroaders is an informal group of like-minded model railroaders located in and around Summerside, P.E.I. The group was formed almost 20 years ago. The name came to us one day, when a visitor commented that we must be nuts to do what we do. Our reply was that we are only half nuts. The name stuck!
